About

Most buyers in Valencia pay more than they should. Our clients don't.

Not because sellers are dishonest but because the system puts the wrong agent on the buyer’s side. We built FirstHomeValencia to change that.

Buyer's Agent · Valencia, Spain

David Breuer

I started my career as a traditional real estate agent. I know exactly how the listing side of the business works. I know exactly how many different ways a listing agent earns from a transaction — most of which the buyer never sees. And I know why it creates a structural problem for buyers.

The agent showing you a property has the asking price to defend. His commission comes from the seller. He has every incentive to close the deal — and very few to push for your best possible outcome.

“I’ve been on both sides of the negotiation table. That’s why I know what the other side is thinking — and how to use it.”

I moved to Valencia because I believe this is one of the most undervalued property markets in Europe — and because too many international buyers are navigating it without proper representation. I set up FirstHomeValencia to fix that, for buyers who want someone genuinely on their side.

I work with a small number of clients at a time. You deal directly with me — from the first call to the notary. My name is on every file.

The reason this exists

Why a buyer's agent, and why now

International buyers in Valencia face two challenges: a market they don’t know, and a professional structure that doesn’t represent them. The listing agent is paid by — and owes his loyalty to — the seller. That’s not an accident; it’s how the Spanish market is built.

The solution isn’t to complain about it. It’s to hire someone whose job it is to sit on your side of the table.

Research confirms what most experienced buyers discover for themselves: agents consistently get better results when they’re acting for their own interests than when they’re acting for clients. The structural conflict is real, and the cost is measurable.
